Welbourn Village Hall

Welbourn Village Hall is a community venue available to hire for weddings, private celebrations, business gatherings and local activities. Set in the village of Welbourn, it offers two indoor spaces that can be booked separately or together, allowing organisers to choose a room to suit their guest numbers and plans.

The main hall accommodates up to 150 people seated with tables, or 200 standing. The smaller hall is suited to more intimate occasions and meetings, with seating for up to 50 at tables. The rooms can be opened up for larger events. For wedding celebrations, the venue offers packages with exclusive use of the halls and grounds, and provides flexibility for couples to bring in their own caterers and suppliers, decorate the space and arrange a marquee outdoors.

Practical facilities include kitchens, tables and chairs, crockery, accessible toilets, baby-changing facilities, heating, broadband and projection equipment. A licensed bar can be operated in either room, subject to the relevant arrangements. The hall is not an in-house catering provider, but hirers may arrange outside catering or use the kitchen to prepare refreshments and meals.

Outside, the grounds include a playing field, tennis court and children's play area, with additional parking possible on the field when conditions allow. Outdoor space can also suit sports events, camping and caravan gatherings. The venue is close to the A607, with a bus stop outside, making it a practical option for organisers welcoming guests from nearby Lincoln, Grantham and surrounding villages. Bookings are arranged through the hall's booking secretary, who can discuss availability, hire options and wedding packages.
