Toertocht Drenthe

Toertocht Drenthe in Balloo gives groups and individual renters the chance to explore Drenthe in a Ruska Classica, an open buggy built on a Beetle chassis. The routes take you through the varied landscape of the Drentsche Aa, with its forests, heathland, villages and megalithic tombs. A tour makes an original activity for a corporate outing, family day or group event. Anyone who would like to head out in a single buggy can also ask about the rental options.
The itinerary can be tailored to the group and the preferred duration. Activities are available along the way, such as farmer's golf, klootschieten or traditional Dutch games. A picnic in a sheltered spot can be part of the programme, and groups can choose options such as a barbecue, buffet or lunch. The venue also has a function room with the atmosphere of a traditional Dutch brown café. It is available for birthdays, receptions, family celebrations, meetings and other gatherings. There are also games to enjoy, including pool, Dutch shuffleboard and darts.
For anyone looking to combine a day out or gathering with a meal and time to relax together, the buggy tour and time in the function room can complement each other. The venue is also mentioned as a wedding location, with options for a ceremony in the café or by a nearby megalithic tomb, followed by a celebration in the function room. Practical details and any packages can be discussed together. Organisers can put together a programme that suits their group, from a drive through the Drenthe countryside to a final get-together in Balloo.
