Thirsk Lodge Barns

Thirsk Lodge Barns is an exclusive-use wedding venue set in the North Yorkshire countryside, around two miles from Thirsk town centre. Its connected barn spaces and outdoor areas give couples room to shape their celebration, from an on-site civil ceremony through to dinner and an evening reception.

The Main Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies and can seat up to 140 guests, with additional seating on its mezzanine. For the reception, the room can be arranged for dining or transformed for an evening party with space for a band or DJ. The separate Dining Room also accommodates up to 140 guests and offers a choice of round or long tables. A bar and courtyard provide space for drinks and time outdoors, while the Wheelhouse offers a quieter place for guests to relax. There is also a private room for the couple.

Couples can choose from full-day, twilight and evening hire, with exclusive use of the barns. Full-day packages include furniture, table settings, food and drinks, selected hire items and a front-of-house team. Extended hire is available for couples who want extra time to prepare and decorate. The venue team can help with planning, recommend suppliers and discuss drinks and styling. On-site accommodation can also be added for friends and family. For 2026 weddings, couples may select from the venue's recommended caterers. From January 2027, catering is planned to be provided by the venue's in-house team, with menus centred on seasonal and locally sourced produce.

The venue also hosts selected public events and showcases. Its rural setting, flexible barn spaces and dedicated wedding support make it a distinctive option for couples planning a wedding celebration in the Thirsk area.
