The Beacon Theatre

The Beacon Theatre is a restored historic venue in downtown Hopewell, Virginia, offering event space alongside a programme of live performances. Built in 1928 and later refurbished, the theatre combines the character of an established performance venue with rooms available for private and business events.

The building includes two ballrooms that organisers can enquire about for weddings, receptions, reunions, social gatherings, conferences, luncheons, job fairs and product launches. The main theatre is used for concerts, plays, drama, comedy and other special events. Its auditorium has orchestra seating and a balcony, giving planners a traditional theatre setting for performances, presentations and audience-focused occasions. Tours and event bookings can be arranged by appointment through the venue.

Located on North Main Street, the Beacon is close to downtown Hopewell amenities. More than 350 free parking spaces are available in nearby lots within two blocks, which can help with guest arrival for events. The venue's varied spaces make it worth considering for organisers seeking either a characterful theatre auditorium or ballroom accommodation for a gathering. Planners can contact the Beacon directly to discuss room availability and the requirements of their event.
