The Shelby

The Shelby is a private event venue in Carson, California, offering a flexible setting for celebrations and gatherings. Its open layout can be arranged to suit different occasions, from wedding receptions and birthdays to family reunions, baby showers, quinceañeras and corporate parties. Organisers can shape the room around their guest list and the style of the event, rather than working around a fixed seating plan.

Tables and chairs are available, and the venue offers staging, event lighting and video capabilities for speeches, presentations and entertainment. A bar service is also available, with bartending options and drinks tailored to the occasion. Organisers can bring in an outside caterer, giving them more choice over the food and service that best fit their plans.

The space is intended for a range of event formats, including seated meals, receptions, parties and performances. Its adaptable arrangement makes it possible to use the room for dining, dancing, a stage programme or a combination of activities. The venue team can assist with planning the layout and practical details, and visits are arranged by appointment.

For event planners comparing venues in the Carson area, The Shelby offers a bookable indoor space with useful built-in production features and room to personalise the setting. It is suited to organisers who want a dedicated location for a private or corporate event, while retaining flexibility over catering, décor and the overall programme. Contact the team to discuss availability, venue arrangements and the options for your event.
