Ballintubbert Gardens & House

Ballintubbert Gardens & House is a Georgian country estate in County Laois, offering an atmospheric setting for weddings, corporate retreats and private gatherings. Set within extensive gardens, the property brings together a historic manor house, landscaped grounds and a collection of accommodation options for groups who want to spend more time together on site.

Couples can plan a festival-style wedding with outdoor ceremony locations, garden receptions and a marquee on the grounds. The estate also offers indoor spaces for gatherings, giving organisers alternatives if the weather changes. Guest stays can be arranged across the manor house and Garden Wing, with additional options including yurts and the Old School House. Wedding food is arranged with the estate's catering partners.

For business organisers, Ballintubbert provides a peaceful rural base for corporate retreats, team gatherings and work sessions. The house and estate can be hired exclusively, with accommodation, shared living areas and gardens creating room for both scheduled activities and informal time together. The natural surroundings also suit wellbeing-focused retreats and garden-based experiences.

The grounds include formal garden rooms, woodland, meadows, orchards and productive planting, giving event planners varied backdrops for outdoor moments and photography. The estate's heritage and horticultural character lend gatherings a strong sense of place, while its accommodation supports multi-day occasions. Garden tours, workshops and seasonal programmes are also offered, though these are distinct from the estate's private event hire. Organisers can contact the team to discuss wedding arrangements, corporate events and other exclusive-use enquiries.
