Haus der Entdecker

Schulstraße 19, 08141 Reinsdorf, Germany

Haus der Entdecker in Reinsdorf combines a bookable function room with hands-on activities covering science, mathematics and art. The function room is of particular interest to event planners, families and groups: it can be booked for children's birthday parties, first-day-of-school celebrations, youth dedication ceremonies and Christmas parties, among other occasions. For children's birthday parties, the room is provided exclusively for the group and prepared accordingly. If requested, the celebration can be combined with a visit to the planetarium or seasonal activities such as gemstone washing.

Haus der Entdecker offers organised visits with a range of discovery stations for school classes, kindergarten groups and other groups of children. Visitors can explore optical phenomena, maths puzzles, marble runs and dexterity experiments for themselves, for example. There are also age-appropriate workshops on topics such as magnets, water, simple robots and chemistry experiments. Meals can also be requested for group visits.

The Zimmerplanetarium shows films and programmes about the night sky and outer space. Together with the activity rooms, it makes for a varied destination for children's birthday parties, school trips and supervised group events. Haus der Entdecker is located in a former school building beside Friedrichsgrüner Park. Reservations and enquiries about celebrations, workshops and group visits can be made using the relevant contact forms or by phone. The activities are primarily aimed at children and families, but also include courses and events for other age groups.
