The 1893 at the Historic Grain Belt Office

The 1893 at the Historic Grain Belt Office is an event venue in Northeast Minneapolis, set within a landmark building dating from 1893. Its preserved brickwork, original wood details, stained glass and historic rooms give the space a distinctive character, while modern updates support today’s celebrations and business events.

The venue can host a range of occasions, from wedding ceremonies and receptions to meetings, dinners, galas and other corporate gatherings. Its three levels and adaptable layout allow organisers to shape the space around their guest numbers and event format. The venue’s corporate information lists seating for up to 350, while its wedding offering is presented for groups from 25 to 300. Private suites give wedding parties somewhere to prepare, and historic features such as the former mail room and vault provide memorable settings for photographs.

For practical planning, the venue lists on-site parking, private entry and installed audiovisual systems supported by a dedicated team. Organisers can also enquire about catering, event design and decor, audiovisual support, planning assistance, valet parking, and music or entertainment coordination through the wider Entourage Events Group. These options make it possible to discuss the venue alongside services that can help shape the occasion, rather than arranging every element separately.

Located in Minneapolis’ Northeast Arts District, The 1893 combines a historic setting with the facilities and support needed for weddings and corporate events. Organisers can contact the team to arrange a tour and discuss the room layout, event requirements and available services.
