Wiesbadener Straße 15, 65527 Niedernhausen, Germany

Zentrum Alte Kirche Niedernhausen rents out a historic church space for private celebrations and public events. The listed former church offers a distinctive setting for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate parties, club events, exhibitions, concerts, talks and workshops. Civil weddings are also possible by arrangement with the Idstein registry office. The venue can accommodate around 100 guests for events.

The heated church space covers approximately 90 square metres. Dimmable lighting and windows that can be blacked out allow for different uses and atmospheres. The raised altar area can be used as a stage. A separate backstage and dressing room with its own entrance is available next to it for performers. A kitchen with a dishwasher, drinks refrigeration and a serving hatch into the church space supports catering by organisers and their service providers.

The facilities include upholstered chairs, bistro and banquet tables, standing tables and trestle tables and benches. A piano is also available. Lighting and sound equipment is located in the gallery and can be used with an experienced technician, subject to a prior request. A small outdoor area complements the venue.

The venue is suitable for event planners looking for a characterful place for small to medium-sized occasions in the Niedernhausen area. Viewings and date enquiries are welcome. Membership of the supporting association is required to hire the venue. Please note that although a ramp can be set up to provide access to the church space, the toilets on the upper floor can only be reached by stairs.
