Alte Lohnhalle Wattenscheid by Knepper Management

Lyrenstraße 13, 44866 Bochum, Germany

Alte Lohnhalle Wattenscheid is a versatile event venue in Bochum, where historic industrial architecture provides a setting for private and business occasions. Event planners can use the rooms for weddings, non-religious wedding ceremonies, birthdays and company celebrations, as well as conferences, talks, product presentations and trade fairs.

The main hall covers around 220 square metres and can host events for up to 199 people. Different seating arrangements make it suitable for talks and presentations, as well as discussions around group tables. For smaller events, Seminarraum Zeche Holland offers around 63 square metres of space and room for up to 40 people. The bistro, at around 70 square metres, is also suitable for groups of up to 40 people, for example for a meal, reception or drinks gathering.

Weddings are also a key focus at the venue. Couples can tailor their celebration to their needs and plan a non-religious wedding ceremony in the courtyard or in the covered Schwarzkaue. If requested, the venue's operators can help with preparations, set-up and decorations. There are flexible options for food and drink, including buffet menus provided by a caterer and a cocktail bar with bartenders. Depending on the occasion, a photo booth, bouncy castle or other entertainment can also be arranged.

For business events, several rooms can be combined, for example for simultaneous talks or presentations. The venue is wheelchair-accessible and is close to a tram stop. It therefore offers event planners in Bochum a flexible setting for celebrations, seminars and corporate events.
