Brodie Homestead

Brodie Homestead is a historic barn venue in South Austin, offering organisers a distinctive setting for weddings, corporate gatherings and social celebrations. Its original timber, stone walls, high gambrel ceiling and crystal chandeliers give the main space a warm, characterful feel, while climate control makes it suitable for events throughout the year. The venue is a short drive from central Austin.

The flexible indoor space covers more than 4,200 square feet and can be arranged for ceremonies, seated dinners, receptions, meetings and other functions. Depending on the layout, it can host up to 350 guests for a standing reception or 250 for a seated reception. Draping helps divide the room into smaller areas or create separate spaces for different parts of an event. Outdoor walkways and nearby green space provide additional settings for photographs and guest moments.

Hire includes exclusive use of the venue for a ten-hour period, tables and chairs, their initial set-up and breakdown, an on-site manager and security officer, and access to a catering preparation kitchen. There are also two private loft changing suites, on-site parking and options for additional event equipment. Wedding bookings can include a ceremony rehearsal and a portrait or engagement session, subject to scheduling.

The venue welcomes private celebrations such as rehearsal dinners, birthdays, showers and anniversaries, as well as corporate luncheons, meetings, retreats and cocktail receptions. Organisers can work with outside suppliers, with catering and event staffing arranged through the venue's preferred vendor options. Brodie Homestead offers a flexible venue setting for planners looking to host an event with historic character and practical facilities in Austin.
