Cense d'Abaumont

Rue de la Pédard 6, 7534 Maulde (Tournai), Belgium

Cense d'Abaumont is located on the grounds of the castle of Maulde, near Tournai. The venue offers indoor spaces and outdoor areas for private celebrations and business events, in a green, historic setting with a park, pond and views of the surrounding countryside. Lille is around a half-hour's drive away and Brussels around an hour.

The Orangerie is the main hall, a bright 185 m² space with large windows, a stone fireplace and direct access to the garden. Le Fenil is a smaller 70 m² room for meetings, seminars and more intimate receptions, among other events. Atelier, at 51 m², is also available for workshops, training sessions and team meetings. The park and pond provide a backdrop for outdoor ceremonies or receptions. Depending on the room layout, the venue can host gatherings of around 10 to 200 people.

For weddings and family celebrations, organisers can hold several parts of their event on the estate, from a ceremony by the water to a reception, dinner and dance party. The venue is also suited to corporate seminars, conferences, workshops and team-building activities. Catering is freely chosen, with suggestions from the venue available if desired. There is a landscaped private car park with more than 150 spaces.

The estate also has three gîtes, with room for up to 26 guests across 13 bedrooms. This provides overnight accommodation for groups and event guests. For weddings and private celebrations at weekends, from the 2027 season onwards, renting the gîtes is linked to hiring a room. The venue can be visited by appointment.
