IJsseldijk 12, 8261 LK Kampen, Netherlands

Feesthuys Hanze1898 is a wedding and events venue on the River IJssel in Kampen, housed in a former military riding school dating from 1898. The distinctive building combines historic character with modern facilities and offers three rooms for weddings, parties and business events. There is also a terrace overlooking the harbour and the River IJssel.

The Hanzezaal is the largest room, with space for 50 to 250 people. It has a stage, bar, its own lighting and sound system, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. For extra space, it can be connected to the Koggezaal using a sliding partition. This smaller room is suitable for dinners and gatherings of up to around 45 guests. The IJsselzichtzaal also accommodates smaller groups and has its own terrace and entrance.

Wedding guests can use the venue for the ceremony, dinner and evening party. Hanze1898 is an official wedding venue of the municipality of Kampen and offers set packages as well as bespoke options. The terrace can also host an outdoor programme or a festive event with a festival atmosphere. There are various party and dining packages for birthdays, anniversaries, family celebrations and corporate parties.

Business organisers can use the venue for meetings, training sessions and workshops. The rooms are equipped with modern technology and Wi-Fi. Meeting packages can include coffee, tea and lunch, among other things. Those looking to add an activity to their gathering can combine a meeting with a boat trip through Kampen. This means the venue offers a wide range of options for both private celebrations and business events, with the room and arrangements tailored to the group and programme.
