Lake Ida Events & Fine Arts

Lake Ida Events & Fine Arts is a lakeside venue in Athens, Alabama, available to hire for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners and a wide range of private and corporate gatherings. Its indoor rooms and outdoor deck offer organisers several ways to shape an event, with a total venue capacity of up to 100 guests. The main space, Lyndon Hall, accommodates up to 60 and features large windows overlooking the lake. Nearby rooms can provide extra seating, a buffet area or a private space for the wedding party. A separate banquet area and art studio each offer additional options for smaller groups or event layouts.

Outside, a 130-foot deck provides room for guests to mingle beside the water. Part of the deck is covered, and patio heaters are available for cooler weather. Organisers can choose hourly hire or an eight-hour booking, with full-day reservations providing access to all venue spaces. Tables and chairs, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth audio are among the amenities available, while optional add-ons include tablecloths, drink dispensers, a rolling cooler and a smart TV for presentations. Some décor and other extras can be arranged for an additional charge.

The venue welcomes events such as birthday and graduation parties, baby and bridal showers, anniversaries, retirement celebrations, corporate events, book signings and memorial gatherings. Outside catering is welcome, although the venue does not currently provide in-house catering. Organisers can arrange a private tour and consultation to view the spaces, discuss their plans and check which rooms and options suit their event. Wedding ceremonies and receptions are explicitly catered for, including outdoor ceremony arrangements.
