Carlisle Theatre

Carlisle Theatre is a historic Art Deco performance venue in downtown Carlisle, Pennsylvania, available to event planners for private and corporate occasions as well as live performances. Its main auditorium offers theatre-style seating for around 960 guests, providing a distinctive setting for conferences, business meetings, weddings, anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, memorial services and rehearsal dinners. Organisers can also enquire about private film screenings and other performance events.

The venue's rental arrangements can include use of its auditorium and two lobbies, along with a tailored stage layout and support from theatre staff. Technical facilities include an in-house sound system, lighting, wireless and handheld microphones, a digital film projector and a high-powered projector for presentations or visual content. Professional technical assistance, event set-up and take-down can also be arranged. Dressing rooms and bathrooms are available, and the theatre can discuss concession and certified bartending services for suitable events.

Set among the shops, galleries and restaurants of central Carlisle, the theatre is within walking distance of local destinations, with street parking and nearby lots and garages. Its historic architecture gives receptions and gatherings a different character from a standard function room, while the auditorium and stage provide practical infrastructure for presentations, screenings and shows. Event planners can contact the theatre to ask about availability, pricing, rental terms, technical specifications and floor plans. The venue also hosts its own public programme of films, concerts and theatrical productions, but private hire is available for organisers seeking a central, fully equipped theatre space.
