Sun Valley Barn

Sun Valley Barn is a wedding and event venue in Pella, Iowa, offering a private setting for couples, families and organisers planning a gathering. Weddings are its main focus, with space for ceremonies and receptions, or for a reception on its own. The venue hosts one wedding or event per day, giving each booking exclusive use of the space.

The main area and adjoining loft can accommodate up to 275 guests, including the wedding party. Facilities include a bridal suite, a groom's room, a nursery, a catering kitchen and a private bar. The venue also provides tables and wooden crossback chairs, with layouts arranged to suit the guest count and preferred table style. Heating and air conditioning support events throughout the year, while the paved private car park has space for more than 70 vehicles and additional overflow parking.

Couples may choose a licensed, insured caterer, and the venue can suggest local options. Alcoholic drinks are provided through its contracted bar service. Other suppliers can be selected freely, and the team can offer recommendations. On the event day, a venue representative is available to welcome the couple and suppliers, answer practical questions and help with facility needs. Wedding-day planning and coordination are not included, so organisers who want that support can appoint a separate coordinator.

Although weddings are the priority on Fridays and Saturdays, Sun Valley Barn also welcomes business meetings, company events, family gatherings, holiday celebrations, graduation parties and bridal showers on other days. Tours are available by appointment, and prospective clients can check date availability and pricing before making an enquiry.
