Based in Marseille, the association Orane runs several activities related to contemporary music and the local arts scene. It produces the Marsatac festival, and also offers services for professionals looking for artists and expertise for their events. Its agency, Marsatac Agency, supports emerging talent from the South of France and works to promote their live shows. Organisers can contact the agency to discover artists, consider their line-up and prepare for their performances.
The agency's support covers different stages of an artist's career. It includes management and career development, show preparation and the production needed to bring performances to life. The team also contributes to event programming and provides programming services for other cultural events. Its work draws on its knowledge of the regional music scene and a network built up through the association's activities.
Orane also runs arts outreach and education initiatives through Marsatac School, and delivers the Safer programme, which focuses on preventing gender-based and sexual violence in festive settings. These projects complement its commitment to artistic creation and cultural life in Marseille. For an event planner, the most directly relevant service is Marsatac Agency: artist discovery and booking, production support and music programming, tailored to the needs of each project. Orane is therefore not a venue for hire, but a cultural organisation that can contribute to the artistic programming of an event.
