Marlsgate

Marlsgate is a historic estate in Scott, Arkansas, available for weddings, corporate gatherings and private celebrations. Set beside Bearskin Lake, the property combines the character of a Greek Revival mansion with outdoor gardens and dedicated event spaces, offering organisers several settings to shape an occasion around their plans.

For weddings, couples can choose between a set package and a bespoke arrangement. The estate’s spaces include formal gardens, a glass conservatory, the mansion, a ballroom and an 1888 carriage house that can serve as a bridal suite. Wedding arrangements can bring together ceremony and reception access, catering, floral design, a wedding cake and staffing. The venue also has chairs, tableware, decorative collections and sound systems for use across its event spaces.

Marlsgate also welcomes corporate dinners, client receptions and board meetings, as well as social occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, bridal luncheons, afternoon teas and brunches. Organisers can discuss a gathering suited to their group, from a smaller hosted meal to a larger celebration. The venue describes options ranging from intimate events to large functions, with estate spaces and service details selected to suit the occasion.

With its historic interiors, landscaped grounds and multiple locations for gathering, Marlsgate gives event planners a choice of backdrops in one estate. Its team can help coordinate important elements, particularly for weddings, while the property’s indoor and outdoor settings allow celebrations to move between spaces. Visitors are asked to arrange an appointment to tour the estate, which is also the owners’ private residence.
