Blokartfun runs blokart sessions on the beach at Wijk aan Zee. Participants drive a small sail-powered buggy across the sand and experience how the wind and their steering skills determine their speed. Beforehand, instructors give a brief explanation of how to operate the blokart and sail on the beach. They stay nearby during the session to offer tips and help where needed. So you don't need any sailing experience to take part.

The activity is suitable for individuals and groups. At weekends, individuals can join a session, while groups on weekdays and parties of more than ten people can get in touch to discuss the options. Blokartfun uses original blokarts and has five sail sizes available. The right size depends on the conditions and the participant. Wind is important for the activity: if too little wind is expected, Blokartfun will get in touch in advance. The booking can be rescheduled or cancelled by agreement. Groups can also discuss alternative activities, such as power kiting, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing and bodyboarding, archery and beach games.
