Die Kultur- und Festhalle Oberrot is a municipal event venue in Oberrot that can be used for celebrations and other social occasions. The former sports hall was converted into a cultural and celebration hall in 1993 and 1994. Event planners will find a larger hall here for gatherings that need a shared space for guests, a programme and catering.
According to the municipality, the hall can accommodate up to 280 people. The foyer is also available for smaller events and is suitable for groups of up to 50 people. The municipality gives weddings as an example of a possible event and notes that catering businesses can also hire the hall for events. This makes the venue suitable for wedding receptions, club events and other social occasions, provided the requested date is available and approved.
Permission to hold individual events must be requested from the municipal administration. Details must be agreed in advance depending on the event and the catering required. Seating and table arrangements should also be taken into account when planning. Under the terms of use, organisers are generally responsible for setting up the rooms themselves, while additional help with this can be arranged by agreement for a fee. Die Kultur- und Festhalle Oberrot therefore combines a spacious event hall with a smaller foyer and offers event planners a municipal venue for celebrations and gatherings in Oberrot.
