Dorpshuis De Buorkerij offers two rooms in the centre of Terherne for gatherings of various sizes. The venue is located in a renovated former farmhouse and is used by clubs, businesses, public authorities and private individuals. Organisers can use it for meetings, workshops, members' gatherings and celebrations.

De Húskeamer is a bright, smaller room for groups of up to around 25 people. It is suitable for meetings and workshops and can also be used for remote meetings. A large monitor is available to connect a laptop to. This makes the room practical for presentations or a gathering with online participants.

For larger groups, there is the Grutte Seal, which can accommodate around 80 to 150 guests, depending on the room layout. The room has a bar, dance floor and stage with theatrical lighting. A projector, projection screen and sound system are also available. The room can be arranged to suit the occasion, for example for a meeting, birthday or wedding celebration. When the venue is hired, volunteers staff the bar, so organisers can also arrange refreshments on site.

De Buorkerij is therefore a versatile village venue for both business gatherings and private celebrations. Room hire requests are made via the booking form. Hire is confirmed after the request has been discussed, so that the requirements for the gathering and availability can be coordinated.
