The Carolina Girl

The Carolina Girl offers a private yacht as an event venue on Charleston Harbor, giving organisers a distinctive setting for weddings, corporate gatherings and other celebrations. The yacht can accommodate up to 125 guests, with several onboard areas for dining, socialising and dancing. Events can take place while cruising the harbour or in a dockside format, depending on the plans and schedule.

Wedding bookings include ceremonies and receptions, as well as rehearsal dinners, welcome parties and farewell brunch cruises. Corporate organisers can arrange client or staff appreciation events, team gatherings and relaxed networking occasions. The venue also welcomes social events and seated dinners, making it suitable for hosts looking for a setting beyond a conventional function room.

The team provides planning support and an event director on the day. Tables, Chiavari chairs and lounge furniture are included, along with a top-deck dance floor, sound system and mixing booth. The yacht has air conditioning and heating, plus a screen and microphone for presentations or speeches. Food, bar service, music, linens and staff can be incorporated into event arrangements, with preferred catering partners available to help organisers plan around the vessel. Guests can enjoy views of the harbour, Charleston's historic waterfront and nearby bridges throughout their time aboard. The yacht is docked at St. John's Yacht Harbor on Johns Island, where organisers can arrange a visit by appointment.
