The Hallett-Irby House

The Hallett-Irby House is a historic event venue in downtown Mobile, Alabama, offering a distinctive setting for weddings, receptions and intimate social gatherings. Event planners can book the house for a celebration, with the option to use the same location for both a wedding ceremony and reception. The property also welcomes rehearsal dinners, parade-viewing occasions and other private events.

Inside, the house offers several rooms for guests, with tall windows featuring original glass and etched details in the front door. Outside, a fenced courtyard and yard provide space to gather, while the balcony adds another characterful part of the property. The brick exterior and decorative ironwork reflect the home's history, and its position across from Barton Academy places it on Mobile's parade route.

The adjoining carriage house can be included when organisers hire the full property, and the venue also offers overnight accommodation options. This combination may suit groups planning a celebration with guests travelling to Mobile, or organisers looking for a memorable backdrop for a smaller gathering. The venue is available for individual lodging as well as event hire, with packages and pricing discussed according to the occasion.

Set close to downtown attractions and restaurants, The Hallett-Irby House gives organisers a historic home atmosphere within the city. Its mix of indoor rooms and outdoor areas makes it a flexible choice for couples and hosts seeking a private, character-rich venue for a special occasion.
