Liss Pavilion

Liss Pavilion is a community venue available to hire for private celebrations, weddings, meetings, training sessions and local activities. Set beside West Liss Recreation Ground, it is a short walk from Liss village centre and the railway station. Its modern, light-filled main hall can be arranged for different kinds of gatherings, from seated meals and conferences to larger standing events. The venue also has a separate quiet room, useful for breakout sessions or a calmer space during an event.

The main hall measures 11.8 by 9.6 metres and can accommodate up to 80 people for dining, 100 in a conference layout or 199 standing. Tables and chairs are available, and the venue has an equipped kitchen with a commercial dishwasher, cooker and serving hatch to the hall. Hirers can also make use of the built-in sound system, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, microphone and hearing loop. Patio doors open onto a verandah linking the pavilion with the recreation ground.

The building is accessible, with accessible facilities and parking for 16 cars, including disabled parking. Licensed for live and recorded music, it welcomes bookings for birthday parties, wedding receptions, christenings, wakes, corporate training, exercise classes and community groups. Children’s parties can include a bouncy castle, subject to an additional charge, though hirers arrange the castle themselves. Bookings are made through the council’s online system, with hire options and charges varying by booking type and time. The Pavilion is managed by Liss Parish Council, which provides booking assistance and venue hire information.
