The Octagon Barn

Set in the Norfolk countryside near Norwich, The Octagon Barn is a distinctive venue for weddings, receptions, family occasions and corporate events. Its unusual eight-sided barn dates from around the late seventeenth or early eighteenth century, and its open vaulted roof gives the main space a striking sense of height and character. Gardens, woodland and additional outbuildings offer organisers a choice of settings and backdrops throughout the grounds.

The venue welcomes both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, with capacity for up to 200 guests. Weddings can make use of several licensed ceremony locations, including outdoor areas, followed by a reception in the barn. The team offers Gold and Silver wedding packages, as well as bespoke options. Depending on the package, facilities can include exclusive three-day venue hire, tables and chairs, a dance floor, a catering tent, accessible toilets and an on-the-day wedding coordinator. Dry hire is also available, giving couples flexibility to choose their own suppliers and styling.

For other occasions, the barn and grounds can host birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, charity events, wakes and commemorations. Corporate organisers can enquire about a setting for product launches, networking, training, team building, client events and employee celebrations. The events team can provide coordination and practical guidance, with supplier recommendations available to help shape the plans. With its rural surroundings, multiple spaces and proximity to Norwich, The Octagon Barn offers organisers a flexible location for personal and business events alike.
