Liberty Hall

Liberty Hall is a historic Lawrence venue available for private and corporate events, as well as concerts, films and other public performances. Organisers can enquire about hiring its Main Hall for occasions such as weddings, business events, special screenings, holiday parties and charity gatherings. The venue's distinctive period architecture and theatrical interiors give events a characterful setting in the heart of the city.

The Main Hall is the principal space for larger gatherings, with capacity depending on the event format, layout and production requirements. Its stage and technical facilities can support performances and presentations, while the room can also be arranged for receptions and dinners. Organisers can discuss options such as projection, lighting and bar service when planning a booking. The venue publishes technical information and rental rules to help event planners prepare their production and floor plan.

Liberty Hall also features The Spacement, a smaller speakeasy-style room suited to intimate parties, cocktail gatherings, karaoke, live music and talks. A Little Theatre is described as a space for private screenings and corporate presentations, although its availability for private rentals may be limited by the cinema programme, so planners should confirm current options directly.

The venue has a dedicated wedding offering and invites couples to arrange a tour. Its event team can advise on availability, permitted arrangements and the services that can be added to a hire. With several room styles under one roof, Liberty Hall can be considered for everything from a small gathering to a large performance or celebration. Event planners should contact the venue to discuss their date, guest numbers and preferred setup.
