Stages Productions inc

Stages Productions is a professional touring theatre company that brings live, educational performances for children and families to schools, arts centres and other venues. Based in the Tampa Bay area, the company serves presenters across the Southeast, so organisers can book a show for their own auditorium or family programme rather than hire a venue from Stages Productions.

Its repertoire includes musical adaptations of familiar stories, fairy tales and children’s books, alongside programmes built around subjects such as literacy, history, health and environmental awareness. Productions are designed for young audiences and combine acting with music, lively storytelling and opportunities for audience participation. The company describes its shows as short-format performances, with casts generally ranging from four to eight actors, making them suitable for a range of host spaces, including school media centres and larger performing arts venues.

For event planners, schools and cultural presenters, the service is a bookable touring production that can add a family-friendly or educational theatre feature to a calendar of events. Some programmes are created specifically for schools and smaller venues, and supporting lesson plans are available to help teachers connect a performance with classroom learning. The repertoire changes over time, with seasonal titles and new productions offered alongside a wider selection of past shows. Stages Productions also runs summer musical theatre workshops for young people, providing training in acting, singing and dance. Its main event offer, however, is the touring children’s theatre programme, which organisers can arrange directly with the company for presentation at their location.
