FortyEight - Reserve Room

FortyEight - Reserve Room is a private event space in Freshfields Village on Kiawah Island, serving organisers from the island and nearby Seabrook and Johns islands. It offers a dedicated room for gatherings of around 20 to 40 guests, with a separate entrance and sliding doors and curtains that can be closed to create a private setting. The space shares a kitchen with FortyEight - Wine Bar & Kitchen, making it suited to occasions where guests want to dine together as part of the event.

The room can be booked for wedding-related gatherings, birthday dinners, anniversaries and other private celebrations. It is also set up for business meetings for groups of approximately 6 to 40, with a large-screen television and HDMI connection for presentations. For seated dining, the Reserve Room can accommodate groups of up to about 40. The venue’s wider dining offer includes seasonal dishes, appetisers, salads, small plates and desserts, with wine, beer and cocktails available through the adjoining business.

Organisers can enquire about event arrangements and dining packages, and an event coordinator can help plan special occasions. When the room is not reserved for private use, it may also be open for regular dining. Its size and flexible private-room layout make it a suitable option for smaller receptions, wedding events, celebratory dinners and business gatherings in the Freshfields Village area.
