Starry Night Barn & Studios

Starry Night Barn & Studios is a historic barn venue in Suttons Bay, Michigan, offering a relaxed setting for weddings, dinners and private celebrations. Set among fields, orchards, wooded hills and a creek, the farm brings together historic buildings, indoor event rooms and outdoor spaces for ceremonies and photographs.

The renovated upper barn is the main reception space, with room for dining, dancing and entertainment. Lower-level lounges offer additional options for cocktail hours, smaller dinners and gatherings, while the grounds include a range of ceremony locations. Tables, chairs, lighting, bars, catering preparation areas and event-day venue staff are among the facilities and services available. Organisers can select their own vendors, and the venue can discuss arrangements for clients who would prefer a package.

The venue focuses on weekend-long wedding celebrations, with access to event spaces and accommodation that gives couples and their guests more time together. The on-site cottages sleep four guests each, and the farmhouse can accommodate up to 16. Additional options include rehearsal dinners, ceremony set-up and audio equipment. A staffed golf-cart service helps guests move around the property, and parking is available on site.

Beyond weddings, the barn and its connected spaces can host dinners, parties and other events. The team encourages organisers to plan with care for the rural setting, including making use of local suppliers and arranging recycling and composting with caterers. Event planners can contact the venue to discuss dates, arrange a tour and explore the spaces, accommodation and practical details for their celebration.
