The Waters

The Waters is a lakefront venue in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, available for weddings, business gatherings and private celebrations. Its setting beside Lake Winnebago combines indoor function rooms with outdoor areas, including a patio, balcony and screened porch. Organisers can book the venue for gatherings ranging from smaller meetings and showers to larger receptions and corporate events, with space for groups of up to 300 guests.

Wedding bookings can include reception time, tables and chairs, a venue manager, bartenders and planning support. Couples can choose indoor or outdoor ceremony arrangements, and a bridal area is available with selected packages. The venue team can help coordinate the day and provide a wet-weather option by moving an outdoor ceremony indoors when needed.

For company functions, the rooms can be arranged for presentations, seminars, networking, awards dinners, training sessions and holiday parties. Available facilities include a ballroom with a stage, projector screens, a sound system and wireless microphones, as well as a television on a rolling stand for smaller sessions. The Harbor Room and bar provide a setting for refreshments and informal networking, while the lakeside spaces offer room to enjoy the surroundings.

The Waters also hosts birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, celebration-of-life gatherings and other special occasions. Event packages include access to selected rooms, and the venue can provide bar service and event-day coordination. Catering is not provided in-house, but organisers may work with preferred caterers or choose another licensed provider. The historic building, originally designed for the Oshkosh Yacht Club, offers a distinctive waterfront backdrop for both formal and relaxed occasions.
