Mounton Brook Lodge

Mounton Brook Lodge is a characterful venue in Pwllmeyric, just outside Chepstow, for weddings, private celebrations and corporate occasions. Set in a renovated historic coaching inn, it combines traditional stonework, exposed beams and high ceilings with contemporary facilities. The Lodge is available for exclusive hire, giving organisers the flexibility to shape the space around their event, from a formal dinner or summer ball to a birthday celebration, school prom or company party.

For weddings and civil ceremonies, the adjoining Old Forge is a licensed stone barn with its own distinctive atmosphere. The main reception rooms can also host larger ceremonies, wedding meals and evening celebrations. Depending on the layout and event, the venue accommodates up to 180 guests seated and around 300 standing, with evening wedding receptions able to welcome more. A garden decking area and courtyard provide space for drinks and photographs, while indoor facilities include a dance floor, a licensed bar and a lounge area.

The venue offers catering and drinks in-house, with menus ranging from relaxed barbecue, hog roast and buffet options to multi-course meals. Tables, chairs, linen, crockery and cutlery are available as part of event arrangements, and wedding bookings include support from an on-the-day coordinator. On-site accommodation is available for guests who would like to stay nearby, including groups travelling for a wedding. With event space, catering, ceremony facilities and lodging in one setting, Mounton Brook Lodge gives organisers a practical base for planning celebrations in the Chepstow area.
