Outpost Performance Space

Outpost Performance Space is a community-based performing arts venue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Its intimate, 160-seat room hosts a varied programme of music, theatre, poetry and other arts, while also being available to rent for selected events and activities. The venue welcomes enquiries from performers, producers, presenters and teachers looking for a space for a performance, recital, lecture, class, workshop or reception. Hire is subject to availability, as the venue also runs its own programme throughout the year.

The space has an informal yet considered feel and is fully accessible. Its facilities include a Steinway grand piano and a collection of professional instruments and equipment that may be available for performers and educational activities. The surrounding walls feature local and regional visual artists through the Inpost Artspace. This combination of performance facilities and an on-site art exhibition gives organisers a distinctive setting for cultural and community events.

Located in Albuquerque’s University district, the venue is a short distance from Central Avenue and has a free parking lot beside the building, with other parking options nearby. Organisers can contact the Outpost team to discuss rental availability and their event requirements. The venue’s programming and educational activities also make it a longstanding home for local artists, touring performers and audiences interested in a wide range of live arts.
