The Lyric Oxford

The Lyric Oxford is a historic theatre and live music venue near the centre of Oxford, Mississippi. Alongside its concert programme, it makes its space available to organisers planning private and business events, including wedding receptions, fundraisers, private parties, corporate gatherings, conferences, speaking events and after-parties.

The venue’s historic setting offers a distinctive backdrop, while its performance facilities support events that need a stage, sound and lighting. Private-event bookings include access to the venue for a four-hour event, with a sound engineer, microphones, a projector, security and an event manager. Tables and chairs, bartenders, glassware, an ice machine, a catering preparation area and pre- and post-event cleaning are also listed among the included provisions. Marquee signage is available to help welcome guests.

Organisers can discuss tailored arrangements for their event, with optional services such as table set-up, coat check, wedding planning and entertainment booking. The venue has multiple bars and green rooms, and its team invites prospective clients to enquire about availability and pricing. Its location just off Oxford’s historic downtown Square places it within walking distance of local hotels, restaurants and shops, which may be useful when planning guest accommodation and activities around an event.
