Botánico

Botánico is a private event venue in Chicago’s Wicker Park, offering two indoor spaces with a combined area of 2,500 square feet. Its enclosed rooftop-garden setting features a large skylight, tropical greenery, rustic wood panelling and distinctive vintage-inspired furnishings, creating a characterful backdrop for gatherings both formal and relaxed.

Organisers can enquire about private or semi-private bookings for corporate dinners, holiday parties, product launches, medical and pharmaceutical dinners, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, birthdays and baby showers. The venue also welcomes wedding receptions, bridal showers and other wedding celebrations, and can host intimate wedding ceremonies. Private dining can accommodate more than 50 seated guests or over 75 for a cocktail reception. Semi-private arrangements suit smaller groups, with seating for 20 to 32 guests or standing receptions for 20 to 40. Ceremony layouts are available for around 35 to 38 seated guests.

The open demonstration kitchen and bar give the space added appeal for chef-led dinners, cooking and cocktail classes, and wine tastings. Food and drink are arranged with support from a dedicated member of the events team, with culinary options connected to the group’s Spanish restaurant and cocktail-bar neighbours downstairs. A sound system is available, while additional audiovisual equipment and specialist lighting can be arranged for an extra charge. The venue operates by appointment, and its private events team handles enquiries about the occasion, guest numbers and suitable arrangements.
