Bermondsey Social Club

Set beneath a railway arch in Bermondsey, this distinctive South East London venue offers a private setting for celebrations, music and company events. Organisers can hire the indoor space for gatherings of up to 120 people, with a secluded courtyard providing an additional outdoor setting. The venue is suited to birthday parties, wedding receptions, private celebrations, club nights and live music, as well as corporate events, presentations and product launches.

The atmosphere is informal and club-like, with a professional PA system, lighting and DJ equipment available for parties and performances. Hire arrangements can include bar staff and security, and the space also has tables and benches for seated events. For presentations and launches, projectors, screens, microphones and staging equipment are available. The venue can host events late into the night, with a licence that runs until 4am every day.

For wedding receptions, the flexible layout can accommodate seated guests as well as larger standing celebrations. The outdoor courtyard adds a quieter area for guests, while the indoor space can be arranged for dancing, entertainment or speeches. Food is not prepared on site, but organisers may arrange external catering, including food trucks. The venue does not provide a traditional seated dining setup.

Located close to Bermondsey and Surrey Quays stations, Bermondsey Social Club offers a characterful alternative to a conventional function room. Event organisers can enquire with their preferred date, event type and expected guest numbers to discuss hire options and a tailored arrangement.
