Cathedral Oaks Event Center

Set among more than six acres of mature oak trees in Belton, Cathedral Oaks offers two distinct venues for weddings, receptions, corporate functions and social celebrations. Organisers can choose the larger Cathedral Oaks Event Center or the more intimate Magnolia House, with both spaces offering a setting that combines landscaped grounds with characterful interiors.

The main event centre provides around 6,800 square feet of flexible space and can host weddings for up to 225 guests. Panoramic windows, high ceilings, hardwood flooring and limestone details give the rooms a warm, spacious feel, while the surrounding grounds offer options for outdoor gatherings. The historic Magnolia House, originally built in the 1850s, suits smaller occasions. Its indoor and outdoor areas can accommodate up to 80 guests for a reception, with a lower capacity when space is needed for dancing. Original woodwork, antique features and a garden framed by white fencing lend this venue a more intimate atmosphere.

Both venues include a catering kitchen and access to tables and chairs. Cathedral Oaks welcomes outside vendors, permits client- or vendor-provided alcohol, and offers half-day or full-day rental options. Staff can assist with room layouts and event timelines, and setup and breakdown are included. The larger venue also has a bridal suite, groom’s loft and covered patio, while Magnolia House has its own bridal suite, groom’s study and sunroom.
