The Historic Stamey Event Center

The Historic Stamey Event Center is a distinctive wedding and event venue in Fallston, North Carolina, set inside the restored Stamey Store building. The venue combines historic character with practical facilities for weddings, receptions, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, conferences, reunions and other organised events.

Event planners and couples can make use of more than 7,000 square feet of adaptable indoor space, with original 1920s woodwork, polished hardwood floors, vintage tin ceilings, antique details and crystal chandeliers. The atmosphere can be styled in a rustic, contemporary or elegant direction, making the venue suitable for a wide range of themes and event formats. A large ballroom, dance floor, bar area and flexible seating arrangements provide room for dining, entertainment, speeches and dancing.

The venue is fully climate controlled and includes dedicated preparation areas for both bridal and groom’s parties. A catering kitchen with commercial refrigeration, warming and preparation equipment supports outside caterers and event suppliers. Tables, banquet seating, Chiavari chairs, linens and portable PA equipment are available for weddings and receptions, while the team can also recommend or coordinate trusted partners for catering, decoration, flowers, photography, entertainment, cakes and wedding planning.

Wedding packages are available for both larger celebrations and more intimate occasions. The smaller package can include catering, decorations, cake, rehearsal time and day-of coordination. The venue can accommodate up to around 250 guests in certain configurations, with other layouts available for corporate events, parties and community functions. Tours are arranged by appointment, allowing organisers to discuss dates, guest numbers, suppliers and event requirements directly with the venue team.
