SylvanDale Wedding & Event Barn

SylvanDale Wedding & Event Barn is a historic rustic venue set in the countryside east of Hayward, Wisconsin. The Swedish-style barn dates back to the late 1800s and has been carefully restored to create a distinctive setting for weddings, private celebrations, community occasions and business gatherings.

The venue offers several connected spaces, including the main barn, milk house, courtyard, covered pavilion, balcony, stage, dance floor and outdoor fire pit. Antique furniture, weathered timber, vintage details, gardens and surrounding farmland give the property a relaxed rural character, while the open layout allows organisers to shape the day around their own plans. Ceremonies can take place in the barn, on the balcony, in the courtyard, beneath the trees or among the surrounding fields, with plenty of attractive locations for photographs.

SylvanDale’s wedding package can accommodate up to 200 guests across the indoor and outdoor spaces, with additional capacity available when a tent is hired. Antique tables and chairs, accessible bathrooms, on-site parking, ceremony seating and selected set-up services are available as part of the wedding offering. Rehearsal dinners can also be arranged.

The barn is suitable for more than weddings. It welcomes family reunions, anniversaries, birthday parties, graduation celebrations, showers, retirement events, company picnics, business meetings, barn dances, church gatherings, nonprofit fundraisers and community festivals. Organisers may use the venue’s recommended local suppliers for catering, drinks, tents, furniture, photography and floral services. Licensed bartenders are available for beer, wine and signature drinks. Showings and bookings are arranged by appointment.
