The Abernathy House

The Abernathy House is a historic wedding and event venue in Pittsburg, Texas, set inside a beautifully preserved Queen Anne Victorian home dating from 1896. Its character-filled rooms, wraparound porch, mature trees and garden grounds provide a distinctive setting for couples, families, companies and community organisations planning memorable occasions.

The venue is best known for weddings, offering space for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and engagement celebrations. The main floor includes two spacious rooms for reception seating, while the front room can be used for cocktails or informal gatherings. The outdoor grounds are suitable for ceremonies, drinks receptions and photographs, with the porch and garden adding a relaxed setting for guests. Depending on the booking, selected second-floor bedrooms and a romantic honeymoon suite can also be included.
