The Post Event Center

The Post Event Center is a family-owned event venue in Ralston, Nebraska, serving organisers across the Omaha area. Set inside a former VFW building, the venue combines original brickwork, polished hardwood floors and a warm, adaptable atmosphere for weddings, receptions, parties and other special occasions.

With approximately 3,000 square feet of event space, the venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests while still allowing room for a dance floor, DJ setup, dining tables and guest circulation. Its flexible layout gives organisers the freedom to create a celebration that reflects their own style, whether they are planning a wedding reception, anniversary, graduation, reunion, fundraiser or corporate gathering.

The venue provides a full-service bar and works with outside DJs and caterers, subject to its booking requirements. A catering kitchen is available for the chosen caterer, and the team can also provide recommendations for trusted food suppliers. Organisers have access to free parking, overnight parking and nearby hotel accommodation, making the location convenient for guests travelling from outside the area.

Planning support includes venue booking guidance, decoration access from the morning of the event and the possibility of hiring the space a day early for setup when available. The Post Event Center also offers a selection of internal add-ons, including backdrop installations, high-top tables, chairs, an easel, champagne wall hire, centrepieces, vases, votives and candles. The building is wheelchair accessible and offers a welcoming setting for celebrations that need both character and practical event facilities.
