Just Dance Ballroom

Just Dance Ballroom, also presented as JDB Event Center, is a flexible event venue in Oakland serving organisers across the San Francisco Bay Area. The facility offers approximately 10,000 square feet of indoor space, divided across three separate ballrooms that can be booked for different event formats and group sizes.

The Grand Ballroom provides the largest setting at around 5,000 square feet, while the Waterfront Ballroom offers approximately 3,000 square feet and the Sunset Ballroom around 1,000 square feet. This range gives organisers options for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, with indoor seating for up to 500 guests. The venue is suitable for weddings, receptions, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, cultural events, formal dances, performances, live music and corporate functions.

Each ballroom is designed with practical event use in mind. Facilities include cushioned seating, storage cubbies, maple dance floors, wall-to-wall mirrors and professional sound systems. The venue is located near the waterfront and Jack London Square, with convenient freeway access and a shared, well-lit parking area for guests and suppliers.

In addition to one-off event hire, the space can accommodate longer-term or recurring bookings, including dance clubs, private lessons, yoga sessions, theatre groups, cheerleading rehearsals, fitness classes and film sets. Couples can also access a dedicated wedding dance programme, with private lessons and customised choreography for first dances, wedding party performances and parent dances.
