Waterlijn Amersfoort allows groups to experience the historic city center from the water. Cruises depart from Krommestraat, sailing through the canals, past old city walls, moats, monuments, and the greenery of Park Randenbroek. For event organizers, the option to hire an entire boat with skipper and narrator is particularly interesting.

A private cruise can be booked for company outings, staff activities, school trips, reunions, birthdays, family celebrations, and other group events. Within the possibilities of the boating season, the departure point, destination, route, sailing times, and program can be customized. A wedding ceremony or wedding reception on board is also an option. The organization has seven boats with varying capacities, ranging from small vessels for intimate gatherings to a boat for up to 44 passengers.

In addition to the regular sailing routes, Waterlijn organizes themed cruises focusing on culture, nature, history, and local attractions. Examples include a cruise with a visit to the Mondriaanhuis, a nature tour, or a route with a workshop. Various resources are available for non-Dutch speaking guests, including handouts and audio tours.

The boats are electrically powered, ensuring a smooth cruise through the canals. Waterlijn offers a unique group activity where the city, the story, and togetherness take center stage. Thanks to the personal guidance on board, organizers can include a cruise in a day program or choose an independent boat trip as the main activity.
