Pedestrian bridges made easier

Just nine modular main components make all the difference: less personnel , efficient assembly , and short setup times . An EventBridge pedestrian bridge can be erected and positioned in less than six hours . One unit allows 4,500 visitors per hour to comfortably reach the other side. Doubling the capacity adds only about two hours to the setup time, depending on the requirements.

Because the bridge can be moved as a complete unit , it can be assembled away from traffic flow if there is sufficient space. A traffic closure of approximately 5 minutes is only necessary when lifting it into place at its final location. This relieves the project team, keeps traffic disruptions to a minimum, and reduces the effort required for traffic management measures.

This construction method is the result of many years of development: development began in 2009 , and the first deployments with the signed construction manual followed in 2016. Today , 10 years of project experience from all over Europe are incorporated into every design.

A non-binding visualization shows how the bridge can be assembled and positioned at the site. If the proposal meets the requirements, the planning will be further refined based on the specific local conditions. The standardized construction manual is already available and facilitates coordination with the building inspectorate as well as the subsequent acceptance process.
