The large concert hall offers 1,255 fixed seats as well as additional wheelchair spaces and features a spacious stage with a variable orchestra platform. Technical equipment includes professional lighting, a high-performance sound studio for recordings and speech or music amplification, motorized microphone winches, trusses, a large screen, and a high-performance projector. This makes the hall suitable not only for classical concerts and orchestral projects, but also for symposia, conferences, award ceremonies, lectures, comedy, cabaret, ballet, and corporate events.
A spacious foyer spanning two floors provides ample room for receptions, admissions, breaks, and catering. The building also houses dressing rooms for performers, soloists' rooms, a conductor's booth, a choir rehearsal room, and additional backstage areas. A leased catering area can complement the event with food and beverage services.
In addition to the main concert hall, other halls such as the Joseph Joachim Concert Hall, the Georg Neumann Hall, and the Chamber Hall can be requested through the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin). Organizers submit their requests, including the type of event, preferred date, expected number of attendees, and technical requirements. The halls are rented based on availability and after a review of the event. The venue is particularly well-suited for concert promoters, cultural institutions, companies, educational institutions, and organizations seeking an exceptional stage with professional infrastructure in Berlin.
