Auer Hall

Auer Hall is a distinguished 400-seat concert hall located within the Simon Music Center at Indiana University Bloomington. As part of the Jacobs School of Music, it provides a refined and acoustically focused setting for concerts, recitals, chamber music, organ performances, lectures and other formal cultural occasions.

The auditorium combines a traditional concert-hall atmosphere with striking architectural details, including a high-beamed coffered ceiling, side terraces and balcony seating. Its centrepiece is the Maidee H. and Jackson A. Seward Organ, a remarkable C. B. Fisk instrument with nearly 4,000 pipes, creating an impressive visual and musical focal point for performances.

With seating for up to 400 guests, Auer Hall is well suited to intimate concerts and recital programmes where sound quality, audience sightlines and atmosphere are central to the experience.
