TONALi SAAL

TONALi SAAL is a distinctive cultural venue in Hamburg’s central Grindelviertel, offering an atmospheric setting for concerts, workshops, seminars, readings, exhibitions, meetings and other carefully curated events. Housed in a characterful former stable dating from 1890, the venue combines historic architectural details with professional facilities for contemporary event production.

The main hall accommodates up to 100 guests in a seated format, with a flexible stage arrangement that can be adapted to different event concepts. Its musical profile is supported by a Steinway B concert grand, installed stage and room lighting, a professional sound system, microphones and a 16-channel mixing desk. Concert streaming can also be arranged on request, with multi-camera capability, dedicated audio and video control equipment and a high-quality internet connection.

For organisers, the venue offers more than a performance room. Guests can use the entrance foyer, a separate seating area, cloakroom facilities, Wi-Fi, on-site parking and a fully equipped bar with service. An artist room with piano and private toilet can serve as a dressing room or production office, while the terrace provides an additional area for breaks and informal gatherings during suitable weather.

The wider TONALi Campus also includes bright seminar and workshop rooms for up to 80 seated or 100 standing guests, together with presentation equipment, a Steinway piano, kitchen facilities and space for catering buffets or smaller breakout sessions. The adjoining THE YARD Gallery adds an exhibition setting for up to 100 standing guests, making combined cultural, corporate and creative formats possible.
