Den Draad rents out monumental, hand-crocheted play installations that give your location an instant wow factor. The artistic character of these crocheted installations deliberately breaks with traditional, rigid playground equipment. There is no manual, no restrictions, and no age limit. Thanks to the free play dynamics, Den Draad truly invites everyone. Children explore and climb instinctively, while adults loosen up and rediscover their inner child. Wonderful as a main activity, but equally suitable as a play or chill-out island in between other activities.
The benefits of our installations:
- High capacity: Many children can play on and around the installation at the same time. Bouncing, climbing, and jumping for hours... while parents enjoy a quiet drink. Den Draad also works perfectly as a play or chill-out oasis between other acts. Because supervision is not required, the installation remains continuously freely accessible.
- Robust and weather-resistant: Den Draad's installations are made to be left outdoors for extended periods and to be played on intensively by all ages. After a rain shower, an installation dries quickly, and even strong winds pose no problem.
- Hassle-free for your team: I handle the setup and dismantling entirely myself. When inflating the balls, I briefly need power (a standard socket) for my compressor. Once the installation is in place, no power or compressor is required. The installations can remain in place for months without any maintenance.
- Artisanal and sustainable character: The charm of handmade crochet appeals to young and old. I do all the crocheting myself. I have been working on my Yarn arsenal for 10 years now. The basics last for years. Hardly anything is thrown away. Instead, 'old' pieces are taken apart and reworked during the quiet winter months so that they look spick and span again for the event season.
Den Draad can be rented for short events or long pop-up play areas.
