Originally, 'd Hofstee' is an 18th century farmhouse that was known in the 1980s as the "Claeyssenhof", which at that time acquired its name with "chicken on a spit". In 1997 the property was bought by Eddy Decruw and Angela Kelly who turned the business into what it is today, a rural family restaurant where everyone will find something to their liking.
