WestelFest is a young festival that took place in Westerlo on May 3-4. SND Projects organizes this festival every year. This year they used the Entrywallet system, a closed loop payment system developed by Entrytickets. To ensure that the contactless cards could be used without any problems, they opted for a temporary network from Astro Rent. In just a few hours we installed a complete network at strategic locations on the festival site, such as the entrance for ticket scanning and the food and drink stands.
Despite the disappointing weather, there were no problems with the network and the WestelFest crew was able to process payments smoothly and easily.

WestelFest is een jong festival dat plaatsvond in Westerlo op 3-4 mei. SND Projects organiseert jaarlijks dit festival. Dit jaar maakten ze gebruik van het Entrywallet-systeem, een closed loop betaalsysteem ontwikkeld door Entrytickets. Om te zorgen dat de contactloze kaarten probleemloos konden worden gebruikt, kozen ze voor een tijdelijk netwerk van Astro Rent. In enkele uren installeerden we een volledig netwerk op strategische plekken op het festivalterrein, zoals de ingang voor ticket scanning en de eet- en drinkstands.
Ondanks het tegenvallende weer waren er geen problemen met het netwerk en kon de crew van WestelFest vlot en gemakkelijk betalingen verwerken.
