As a child, I was served oysters (and champagne) every year at New Year's by my godmother Josée. For years I hated those oysters (and also the champagne)... Until later - rather by chance - I came into contact with oysters again. This time I bit (me) into it, with relish!
For 10 years I opened oysters for a Dutch company at all possible events, parties, baby showers, parties and other occasions. I then also trained other people and was their 'face' in Belgium all those years. Tens of thousands of oysters passed my oyster knife.
From April 2017 I am an independent oyster opener. My challenge? Still offering enthusiasts a top oyster at every event and convincing doubters to taste it. In Belgium I am one of the few oyster men who can turn your party into a real party in this way.
